Samsung Omnia HD I8910

The Samsung Omnia was one of the best touch screen and most popular mobile phones in 2008. It did this even though it was competing against two other heavy weights, which were the iPhone and the Nokia N96. Now Samsung have come out with their newest upgrade to the Samsung Omnia and it is called the Samsung Omnia HD i8910.
The Samsung HD Omnia is dominated by the massive 3.7 inch screen, which is one of the largest screens you can currently get on any mobile phone. This is of course a touch screen and has excellent functionality and navigating the interface is super easy. It also has an accelerator, which means that the screen changes from vertical to horizontal if you rotate the phone. Size-wise the phone is 123mm x 58mm x 13mm. which is large, but nothing surprising considering it is a smartphone.
There is a built-in music player and an FM Radio. Of course the music player on the Samsung Omnia HD supports all popular formats.

Samsung have also been very giving when it comes to memory, and you can choose to have either 8GB or 16GB of internal memory and even increase this further to 32GB by using a MicroSD card. The camera on the Omnia has 8 mega pixels, autofocus and digital zoom. There are also some advanced features like Smile Shutter, which automatically takes a picture when someone smiles; Blink detection, which wont take a picture if the person blinks; and Panorama which allows you to take a series of pictures and then combine them into one continuous image.
The main difference with the Samsung Omnia HD i8910 mobile phone is that it is the first mobile phone that allows recording and viewing in HD. This is a massive step forward and will lead to many copycats from the likes of Apple and Nokia. Application-wise the Omnia HD has a document viewer, hand recognition software, 3G HSPDA, EDGE and GPRS, so you can see it is action packed.
